Hello,

Last weekend i have bought a second hand IC-7300.
I want to use it portable in CW.

CW is working, with UCXLog, but it sounds like nothing. I do not know what is the problem.
I have tested it wich two different laptops but the result is the same.

If the CAT connection to the 7300 is working, the CW is wrong. It is working but it's like that it has a malfunction.
If the CAT connection to the 7300 is not working, the CW is okay.

Who now's the solution.

I already found it.
In SETUP/STATION/SPECIAL was "Simpel COM port I/O settings" checked.
I have unchecked it and a new startup of UCXLOG.
After that it is working good.

UcxLog forces everyone to read the news

One shown news was this:

Tip:
If there are irregularities in the CW keying via COM port lines due to driver problems, then
switch-over of "Simple COM Port IO method" in "Settings-Station-Special" can usually help.

You can see it again and again using menu "Help - Check news ...".

Ucxlog cannot predict which setting is better.
