Hi
I'm EB2RA, previous EB2CYQ I had a problem when I try to export a contest type REGVHF, is not possible export in format CBR, I have only the choice for EDI, LOG or Stuetzerbach, Cabrillo is not switchable and the file in plain text have not all I need to make a CBR file.
I'm working with the 6.43 version.

Re: In REGVHF not CBR export
Hello,
For which contest do you want to export a Cabrillo file?
For VHF Cabrillo is only defined for the ARRL contests, but this Cabrillo template is not yet implemented in UcxLog.

Hi Ben
I use your log program in all the regional VHF in Spain, is for me very easy, and I can know when a station as many grids locators I can choice only with a click of my mouse.
I have this problem maybe with the template used by URE (Spain Asociation of Radioamateurs)
QSO: 144 FM 2008-08-02 1458 EB2CYQ 59 001 IN92SD EA3EZG/P 59 032 JN01LX
And the log file from UCXlog is:
MHz Mode YYYY-MM-DD UTC Call Sent Received Points Multiplier
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
144 SSB 2009-08-01 1412 EA3EZG/P 59 001 IN92SD 59 004 JN01LX 119
I dont konw if this change is possible, now I make this with a import with EXCEL, to have the first output.

Re: In REGVHF not CBR export
Hello Jose,
the output from UcxLog
MHz Mode YYYY-MM-DD UTC Call Sent Received Points Multiplier
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
144 SSB 2009-08-01 1412 EA3EZG/P 59 001 IN92SD 59 004 JN01LX 119
is the "Stuetzerbach" format, not Cabrillo and is not useful for you.
I'm willing to implement a Cabrillo output for VHF contests, but it is not yet possible.
There is only one Cabrillo QSO template defined with "grid":
QSO: freq mo date time call grid call grid
QSO: ***** ** yyyy-mm-dd nnnn ************* ****** ************* ******
QSO: 50 PH 1997-09-13 1804 NJ2L FN12fr KB2DMK FN12
This is not useful because it contains only the grid but no serial number.
Your QSO template
QSO: 144 FM 2008-08-02 1458 EB2CYQ 59 001 IN92SD EA3EZG/P 59 032 JN01LX
is so not useful for me because all additional spaces between the words are cleared by the forum editor
(you see this effect also in the template above).
Cabrillo uses fixed columns and I need a link to the definition to see the correct template definition.

Re: In REGVHF not CBR export
Again: Cabrillo is a defined STANDARD and uses standard template definitions.
I can implement a Cabrillo template for each contest
but I need a link to an official TEMPLATE DEFINITION by Cabrillo or by the contest organizer.
A file created by some software is NOT sufficient.
Your attached file is inconsistent with Cabrillo definitions.

Re: In REGVHF not CBR export
Ok I understand... I search this template. The template is in your email @ucxlog.org. Thanks
Re: In REGVHF not CBR export
Tu Ben it works fine in the 6.45 beta.
