LOTW QSL downloading with more than one call sign?
Hello,
I am on Lotw with two call signs, my old (la4sga) and my new (lb2eg).
In the UcxLog dialog window, downloading confirmed Qsos from ARRL-Lotw, I can only put in one callsign at the time ("Own Call Sign"). This procedure means that I first must write in la4sga, do the download, then erase la4sga and write in lb2eg, and then do the download again.
Have I missed a smart alternative way doing this?
Regards,
LB2EG Richard

Re: LOTW QSL downloading with more than one call sign?
Hello Richard,
LOTW requires 1 callsign for download, so UcxLog can only send 1 callsign.
Old callsigns can be linked in LOTW to the actual callsign, then QSLs of both callsigns count together for DXCC.
But I fear that this will only download the QSLs of the request call sign because in the ADIF report file from LOTW is the own call sign only contained once in the header, not in each qso.

Yes my old an new callsign are linked in lotw database.
Mybe ucxlog could store more callsigns in that dialogue window, letting the user choose which to use?

Hello Richard,
It is still in the to-do-list.
The implementation is not simple, because a second call sign was not planned in the internal data structures.
Unfortunately no other user supported your request.

Ok, but what about a drop down/pop up box where the user put his callsigns to choose from?DL7UCX hat geschrieben:Hello Richard,

This way the user does not need to erase and fill inn the different call signs in the call sign field, when using two or more call signs with the same log.

Re: LOTW QSL downloading with more than one call sign?
Self-evident a drop down list.
With 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or more call signs ... ?
The program must store this in a limited settings file.
Pse qrx, there are more important features on the to-do-list.

Re: LOTW QSL downloading with more than one call sign?
As I am the only one that has requested that feature until now, it is time being only necessary with space for two calls in the list:) ... But if you make space for 2-4 calls, I guess most operators will be satisfied.DL7UCX hat geschrieben:Self-evident a drop down list.

No problem with some time span until implemented.
