FT897D problem with frequencie

Hello,

I have installed the version 7.62 beta 1 and now i get some problems with my FT897D.
The frequency is not right.

It has been working for more than a year.
When i do auto detect it detects ok and the frequency is ok but after a few seconds it jumps up and down and jumps out of the band.
So i was thinking of the tranceiver \ Pc but thats not the problem when i run FLDIGI stand alone there are no problems.

Any idea ?

Hello Willem,

In Version 7.62 (and before) is nothing changed relating to the FT-897 communication.
You can fall back to your previous UcxLog version but I think it doesn't matter.

thanks for your fast reply !

Problems with the jumping frequency is over now.
But i have another problem now.

Problem when i do PSK than when i'am sending and the transmission stops the mode in UCXlog jumpt to pkt
PSK receive disappears and when i change the mode to PSK it's back on receive.
The FT897D is not changing te mode it stays on DIG

Very strange i have never problems with ucxlog and the digi modes.
When i use FLdigi stand alone it works ok.
In ucxlog it also not works when i disable fldigi.

How do you send PSK without Fldigi ?
What means "Transmission stops" ?

I send it with MMTTY because FLdigi with ucxlog gives the same problem.

When i call a station it's ok but when the second answer i give the digi windows shutdown and in ucxlog the mode goes from psk to pkt

Than i switch to psk it receives again but 2 time the it shutdown the windows and the mode goes tot pkt..

I think i know what the problem WAS
(Thanks to Maarten PA3EYC)

The Band Plan is the problem that was not ok
Never problems with it but now it was impossible to work with UCXlog.

But it worked good so far so good !
I think the problems are solved.

Hallo,

nach etlichen detaillierten Untersuchungen konnte das Problem erkannt werden.
Der TRX sendet sporadisch (insbesondere nach dem Umschalten von Senden auf Empfang) sinnlose Bytes (bei 5W wohl kein HF-Problem).
Dadurch wurde die Übermittung von Frequenz und Mode verfälscht (SSB statt PSK) und beim nächsten richtigen Empfang gelang die Rückkehr zu PSK nicht, da das nur in UcxLog einstellbar ist (der TRX kennt PSK nicht, nur PACKET).

Mit erweiterten Prüfungen in UcxLog konnten die falschen CAT-Daten ausgeblendet werden.
