60m - Band-change and Log-error

Beitrag von oz1bii »

Hi
Why not / When will the bandshift in UcxLog be updated for 60m.

When I shift band from 80m and down, the program goes to 160m. The same in the opposite way 160 goes to 80.

When I export an ADIF the <BAND> TAG is missing for all 60m QSO's

I cannot log a QSO on 5.254KHz - UcxLog mark this as ??? band.
The 60m band is from 5.250KHz to 5.450KHz, OK ok ok - I know that this is not all places, but that is what we have in OZ and that is what IARU are recommending.

How is your plan for fully 60m implementation in UcxLog Ben ??

Hello Henning,

The 60m-Band is defined in UcxLog as 5102 ... 5450 kHz.
60m is between 80 and 40m, not between 160 and 80m.

Did you check "5.1 MHz" in "Settings - Station - Special - Additional bands" ?

Henning wrote "When I shift band ... ".
I think he will do the shift in the Work window. There is 5.1 MHz available.

I wait for the answer of Henning.

In all DXCC related fields is 5.1 MHz not visible because DXCC doesn't know "60m band" until now.

Hi - sorry for the delay.

Now I have set the 5.1MHz in Special and it works.
It gives the correct bandchanges (Between 80m and 40m ;o)
AND it makes the exported ADIF file correct with the <BAND> tag.

Alles im butter :-)
Thank you Ben!
