LOTW-Download-Fehler 12029

Hallo,

der Fehler scheint generell aufzutreten, Error 12029 ist ein Internet-Verbindungsfehler.
Es liegt nicht an der 7.43, es hat sich dazu nichts geändert und mit der 7.42 tritt der Fehler genauso auf.
Ich vermute ein temporäres Problem beim LOTW, bitte QRX ...

nur mal so ne Vermutung.. Welche URL verwendest Du im Aufruf? p1k.arrl.org oder lotw.arrl.org?
p1k ist obsolet..

danke für den Hinweis, ich hatte schon so etwas befürchtet, aber noch nicht nachgeforscht.
Hat die ARRL diese Änderung irgendwo publiziert?
In 7.44 Beta 1 sollte es wieder gehen.

habs auch grad gefunden, aber das scheint nicht von Dauer zu sein. Nach den Wartungsarbeiten sollte auch p1k.arrl.org wieder gehen, wenn ich das richtig lese..

Updating an earlier announcement, the ARRL main website will not be going down for maintenance but will remain in operation this weekend. Logbook of The World (LoTW) will remain available, and users should use https://lotw.arrl.org to access this service (https://p1k.arrl.org/lotwuser and https://p1k.arrl.org/lotw will be offline). Effective until further notice, some website services are or will be unavailable as maintenance work proceeds. Users of Ham Radio Deluxe version prior to version 6.0 will be unable to upload or download records to LoTW. This outage will last throughout the weekend and will also affect SwissLog users and any other logging applications that interact with the ARRL p1k servers. The Online DXCC service, http://p1k.arrl.org/onlinedxcc, will also be offline throughout the weekend. All other ARRL website functions will remain operational.

Steht denn irgendwo, ob https://lotw.arrl.org auf Dauer statt https://p1k.arrl.org verwendet werden kann ?

Zu deine Frage: Nein, nicht direkt, aber sie schreiben:

Dem entnehme ich, dass es mit einer aktuellen Version von HamRadioDeluxe funktioniert, d.h. die müssen da ja auch auf einen anderen Downloadserver als p1k setzen.
Oder sie greifen nur bei Nicht-Funktion von p1k.arrl.org auf lotw.arrl.org zurück.

Wäre letztes Verhalten mit UcxLog einfach zu realisieren oder müsste man Probleme erwarten?

Hallo Ben,

ich denke mal es wird bei lotw.arrl.org bleiben. Ich hatte mir p1k... auf die schnellwahl gelegt und "musste"
das vor längerem schon mal wechseln (für den Login auf der Website).

Da ich aber bei der ARRL nix gefunden habe, noch mal bei Dr. Gockel geschaut:

Hallo,

dann bleibe ich in Zukunft erstmal bei lotw.arrl.org.
Auf weitere URLs möchte ich im Fehlerfall nicht ausweichen, da laufen ja jedesmal erst Timer ab und es kann auch am Internet liegen.
Und man sollte ja bei der ARRL in der Lage sein, einen Webserver mit stabiler Adresse zu betreiben ...

wie es aussieht, funktioniert die "alte" P1K-Webadresse wieder.
Welche ist denn nun aber die primäre oder bevorzugte Adresse?
P1K... ist die "geerbte" und wahrscheinlich nur noch aus Kompatibilitätsgründen vorhanden ?

Wenn ich das richtig verstehe ist LOTW.ARRR.ORG/... die bessere Lösung
